	DocumonkeyTV is a documentary webvideo production company based out of Vancouver BC Canada, We showcase talent by producing documentary webisodes and Electronic Press Kit videos on unique people, artists, performers, freaks, geeks and wierdos. Exposing the dark, twisted and squishy underbelly of society while celebrating those who make our world a more entertaining, surreal and better place to live.
If you dont ask WTF? - then we havent done our job

Documonkey.tv started as MVP (McCann Video Productions | Most Valueable Preformer) a video production company for the BC Music Industry with the goals of producing music videos. However due to the changing financial face of the music industry (from music downloads, changes to FACTOR, The rise and fall of Myspace). The shrinking budgets forced MVP to adapt its focus from expensive Music Videos to filming live-performances for documetation, concert DVDs, tour videos, interviews and EPK (electronic press kit ) production. This documentation-documentary style of shooting would eventually catch on and lead to the birth of Documonkey.TV

FUN FACT

the name DOCUMONKEY was first used by a makeup girl on the set of the Feature Film "The Entrance" to describe Ryans lowly role as an EPK behind-the-scenes Camera Operator.

DIRECTOR | CAMERA | POST EDITOR

A student of VFS Vancouver Film School, Emily Carr University of Art and Design and SFU School of Contemporary Arts and Business Ryan left the IT Tech world at the turn of the Century to persue projects in the creative and professional video and film arts field.
